These images are from Sunday's Christmas tree lighting at the LBJ Ranch.

The first photograph is a native cedar tree decked out in old-fashion C9 style bulbs. Viewing the ceremonial lighting at a distance is Luci Baines Johnson (youngest daughter of Lady Bird and Lyndon Johnson.) The holiday season has got to be sad with the passing of her mother this year.

What a touching portrait you've captured. Sad thing is, it never gets easier after losing a parent, particularly during the holdidays. It will soon be 18 years since my Daddy died and it seems like yesterday.
