With winter approaching I wanted to get in a few more 'flower' images. Periwinkles are among the heartiest of my seasonal flora. Plus, I have fond memories of my grandmother caring for hers.

Comments:

Very delicate, but you don't have to say goodbye to flowers for the winter. You can grow Pansies and Violas all winter long. I do it every year in Arkansas. They'll bloom in the snow. Of course when it gets hot in late Spring they'll die, but then you can plant your favorites again.
