Due to haze filling the air - amplified with distance - this was not the optimal capture, but nice terrain and stratification layering the scene.
Several mountain ranges are named Sierra Madre (Spanish for "the mother of all saws") and these distant peaks are located in northeastern Mexico (photographed from Texas with the unseen Rio Grande River passing between.)
