This is Dallas County's Old Red Courthouse, standing in all her glory at the front door to the central business district of downtown Dallas. Astonishingly, it was never torn down to make way for a big glass box. Across the street (camera left) is a city park known as Dealey Plaza and only a stone's throw away is the old School Book Depository. (Hmm, those names are familiar in history and I will post an image of them in the next couple of days.)
