When your vision is darkened by nightfall and you hear rustling noises in dry grass -- your mind runs wild.
Is it a predator? Could it be a skunk? Or, the notorious la chupacabra?
In this instance it was the unofficial roadkill mascot of Texas - an armadillo rooting around for bugs.
