One of my favorite holiday movies to watch every year is The Homecoming: A Christmas Story. The story unfolds on Christmas Eve 1933. As one person commented on Internet Movie Database, "It would be a cold heart indeed that would not warm at least a little to this story."

This movie launched the 1970's TV series The Waltons.

I love that movie and haven't seen it for years. Even though I loved the actress who played the mother in the series, I think the actress from the movie was probably a closer match. I love this house! What ornate building materials on the dormer. Man, oh man, who was brave enough to hang that wreath? Gorgeous, Kevin.
