This must have been a very difficult shot to expose well, but the colouring in the sky and the nice detail on the rider are excellent.

I had to tweak yesterday's silhouette posting in Photoshop - the silhouette was mostly there due to underexposure in that image of the rider, but I made it a little darker through a 'curves adjustment' layer. The gold tones in the sunset were along the horizon, but I wanted the remaining 'blue sky' removed (in yesterday's post) and used another adjustment layer -- selective color -- to frame the entire sky burnt orange ;-)

beautiful portrait. i was wondering if yesterday's shot was a statue but apparently not. he looks like he's posing for a statue or something though. very dignified. great color, light and atmosphere. the color looks a tad weird under his chin and on his forehead though.
