Above the Dam | Sunday Jul 08, 2007
All Texas river basins are at flood capacity, something that hasn't happened in over 50 years! This muddy view is above Possum Kingdom Lake dam looking downstream at the Brazos River -- I have taken many canoe trips as a kid along this section of the river with my father -- sometimes the river runs at what seems a trickle and other occasions (the present) in a surge.
